Default Dove Plots

Getting the dove plots ready for September 1. Sunflowers and millet are looking good. Tomorrow we are going to put the last application of nitrogen on. Here is my Boykin Spaniel “Jazzy” on a hunt last year at one of our plots. In the last two years she has retrieved about 900 doves. This will be her third season.

You had probably forgotten about the Daddy's Money story! Brad and I are just waiting it out, thinking about killing something. You should see the birds that are being done from our hunt in Valdez. They are sweet. We are getting about 20 birds back in August so I will post them A.S.A.P.

Our taxidermist said that the eiders we shot on the Cape are the biggest he has ever seen.
